The two students from Hebron High School, Brenden Kaminsky and Jacob Fideldy, who attended the Energy Conference in Bismarck had a terrific, "real life" experience. Over 250 vendors (representatives from companies who provide equipment and materials to the energy industry) were present. Students toured the vendors booths with guides so sales personnel could explain the uses of some of their particular products.
Students listened to a national speaker who spoke about energy in the United States. They also listened to speakers about the various energy industries North Dakota including oil, electricity, coal, and natural gas.
Brenden and Jacob were able to meet people who may be future employers.
